This camp, which will take place in the week of June 23rd to 26th, is a collaboration between Chef Sonali and Anisha Patwardhan. This is Anisha’s fourth year teaching K-12 students in pods or one-on-one sessions. She teaches writing fundamentals and reading comprehension, but this special camp will incorporate her background in cultural anthropology. Anisha earned her B.A. in sociocultural anthropology from UC Davis and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in creative writing and literature through Harvard University. You can learn more about Anisha and her classes here.

Anthropology is the study of humans; cultural anthropology is the study of culture. Each class in this camp will include a brief overview by Anisha of an anthropological concept.
